What do Lowlight Ambassadors do, and how can I apply?
How Ambassadors support communities, the 30 separate days needed before applying, and what happens after acceptance.
Lowlight Ambassadors are volunteers who welcome people, help conversations get started and connect gamers and creators with communities they might enjoy. They can support owner-approved activities and share feedback with the Lowlight team.
Community and server owners remain in charge of their spaces. Ambassadors have no moderation or admin authority through this role, and cannot promise funding, event support or other commitments on Lowlight’s behalf.
Before you apply
Use Lowlight while signed in on 30 separate days, verify an email address or phone number, and keep your account in good standing. The days do not need to be consecutive. There is no follower-count or posting requirement.
Staying signed in is fine. You do not need to log out and back in each day. Lowlight counts recorded activity on distinct calendar days in UTC; using several devices on the same day still counts as one day. An account that is 30 days old does not qualify just because time has passed.
Open Settings → Community Programs to see your active-day progress and apply when you meet the requirements. Applications are always open. Each program has a separate application and review. Meeting the requirements does not guarantee acceptance.
If an application is declined, check the date shown before applying again. That waiting period is separate from your lifetime total of active days; your total does not reset.
After acceptance
Complete the onboarding steps shown in Community Programs. Acceptance alone does not activate a membership. Active members receive the Ambassador badge, program Premium and private program community access where available. Participation is optional, with no weekly activity quota; members can pause when needed.
Lead Ambassadors help coordinate the program and support other Ambassadors. Lead status is assigned by Lowlight and does not grant moderation powers.
