We’re one week away from what might be the best game to drop before Grand Theft Auto VI.
Crimson Desert launches March 19, 2026, and it’s shaping up to be a huge single-player open-world action adventure. It blends the world density of Red Dead Redemption 2, the scope of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and the fast, flashy combat of Black Desert Online.
Developed by Pearl Abyss, this isn’t an MMO like Black Desert. It’s a standalone, story-driven experience focused on a group of mercenaries and a deep single-player narrative.
The game runs on the BlackSpace engine, delivering next-gen visuals, physics, and a massive world. Early previews suggest the map could be bigger than Red Dead Redemption 2 and possibly twice the size of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
If it lives up to the hype, Crimson Desert might be one of the biggest single-player games we get before GTA VI. 🎮
