CORALINE ART STYLE HORROR GAME

GYLT is a third-person horror adventure game with a Coraline-esque art style. You play as a young girl named Sally who is navigating her way through a dark and twisted version of her hometown in hopes to find her little cousin, Emily. This game has heavy themes of bullying which can be very emotional and shares a very impactful story.

This is actually a game i’ve played twice. I have gotten two different endings, one I had to work pretty hard for by finding collectibles. It’s a short and sweet 4-6 hour game for most. Mechanics wise it feels like Little Nightmares mixed with light Resident Evil atmospheric puzzles and some added stealth. Some of the enemies in Gylt are TERRIFYING and I really love how I can relate to Sally being an asthmatic and using my inhaler for health.

Accessibility wise Gylt didn’t feel like it needed much but most games can benefit from a little more accessibility. The controls feel comfortable on both keyboard mouse and controller and I feel like they did a good job at holding my hand if I got lost.
