How do I earn and use Item Tokens?

Build daily progress toward Quality and Unique Tokens, then save them or use them on supported items.

Lowlight has two Item Tokens:

• Quality Token: pays for one Re-investigation.
• Unique Token: pays for one Try Unique (2%) attempt.

Build daily progress

The first time you open Lowlight on a new Lowlight day adds one day of progress toward each token. After seven counted days, you earn a token and begin working toward the next one.

The seven days do not need to be consecutive. You can also save more than one token. Quality Tokens may sometimes appear in item drops as well.

When does a new day begin?

A new Lowlight day begins at midnight UTC. Depending on where you live, that may fall at a different local time. Check the daily reward screen to see whether today's progress has been counted.

Daily progress and your reward streak

Item Token progress is separate from your daily reward streak. Your reward streak returns to day one if you miss a Lowlight day. Losing that streak will not erase the days already counted toward your next Item Tokens.
