Creator discovery and reach

How Creator status may factor into feed ranking and what determines continued distribution.

Creator status may be used as one positive signal in Lowlight's feed ranking and discovery systems, but it does not guarantee reach.

Initial discovery

As recommendation improvements roll out, an eligible post from an approved Creator or Partner may receive an initial discovery opportunity in feed ranking.

The test audience is still selected for relevance. Games, communities, viewer interests, prior activity, and other recommendation signals can affect who sees a post.

Continued distribution

After the initial test, distribution depends on how relevant viewers respond. Lowlight may consider meaningful viewing or reading, saves, shares, comments, replies, hides, reports, freshness, and relevance.

Creator status does not guarantee views, engagement, or continued distribution. There is no fixed Creator reach percentage or promised number of impressions.

Discovery for other accounts

You do not need Creator status or a large following to be discovered. Strong posts from any account can reach the same audience or a larger one when viewers respond positively.
