How do I buy items with Light?

Review a Marketplace listing, understand what you are buying, and complete your purchase with Light.

Light is what you use to buy items from other collectors on the Marketplace. You can earn Light through Lowlight rewards or receive it when one of your items sells. Dust is separate and cannot be used for Marketplace purchases.

Before you buy

Open the listing and check:

• The item's name, rarity, and appearance.
• Whether it is regular or Unique.
• Its quality score, if one has been revealed.
• The full price in Light.

Keep in mind that some items become soulbound after purchase. A soulbound item cannot be sold or Reforged later.

Complete the purchase

You need enough Light, and the listing must still be for sale. You cannot buy your own listing. After the purchase, the item appears in My Items and the seller receives Light after their fee.

Check carefully before confirming

Marketplace purchases are final. Review the item and price before confirming. A listing may disappear if someone else buys it or the seller cancels it.
