Lowlight x Dark Solar Tactical Gaming

We are excited to announce Dark Solar Tactical Gaming as a Lowlight Partner Organization.

Dark Solar Tactical Gaming, or DSTG, is a competitive and inclusive gaming community built around tactical excellence, strategic teamwork, and a supportive, zero-toxicity environment for players and creators alike.

Beyond squad-based gameplay, DSTG puts mental health first and helps its members grow both in and out of the game.

xxTOWERDOGxx What the Name Means

Every part of the name was chosen on purpose.

Dark is the place DSTG never wants a gamer to end up. Solar is the light the community shines on supporting each other. Tactical comes from TOWER’s own background and the core values it brings. And Gaming has been his passion since his first visit to an arcade.

As for how it started, TOWER kept it simple: “As with all things, a dream and a purpose.”

The Mission

DSTG’s mission is to unite gamers and creators across all genres under a banner of strategic excellence, mutual respect, and unwavering community support.

In practice, that means always checking up on each other in game and out, supporting the whole community, and lending a hand to keep everyone’s mental health in a good place.

All Games, All Playstyles

DSTG brings together more than 150 creators and members in its Discord.

There are a lot of shooters and looters, but also retro, MMO, roleplay and nearly every other genre. The community welcomes every type of game and every playstyle.

Their proudest milestone so far was launching the official Dark Solar Tactical Gaming website and watching it grow.

Meet TOWER

TOWER, known on Lowlight as xxTOWERDOGxx , co-owns DSTG with CountryValkarie . Together they handle the organization, team schedules, social media and daily streams.

The name has a story behind it. TOWER spent more than 25 years traveling the world working on and building communication towers, and xxTOWERDOGxx has been his gamertag since the first day Xbox Live went public.

What should you expect from his streams and posts?

“I am on top of the world when I’m gaming. Hype one minute and heated the next, but all laughs, because gaming is our fun place and we should keep it that way, without any drama.”

Ask him what he is most proud of as a creator and organization leader, and the answer is short:

“My community, because without them I am nothing.”

Dark Solar on Lowlight

TOWER brought DSTG to Lowlight because, in his words, the platform’s culture lines up with their core mission: building an authentic, toxicity-free community.

Here, he wants to lift up DSTG’s members, collaborate with other driven creators, and grow the DSTG Strike Team alongside players who value strategy over ego.

“It’s the next chapter, and a step in the right direction for building both Lowlight and DSTG into the ultimate gamers-only platform,” he said.

Their organization page, badge and official server are live now, and DSTG creators are joining throughout the week.
