Long videos have a better home on Lowlight.

We have updated Cinema to make watching, finding the right moment, and joining the conversation feel simpler. The video stays at the center of the page, while the information and actions you need are easy to find below it.

A Cleaner Way to Watch

Cinema now uses a focused watch page for landscape and square videos on desktop and mobile.

The player has more room to breathe, the page is easier to scan, and the extra feed arrows are gone. Instead of asking you to move through long videos like short clips, Cinema keeps your attention on the video you chose.

Playback Controls That Make Sense

The player controls have been cleaned up so each action is clear and easy to tap.

You can move back or forward by 10 seconds, use the timeline to jump to a specific moment, adjust sound, choose video quality when options are available, and enter fullscreen. Supported browsers also include pop-out viewing and theater mode on larger screens.

The 10-second controls now have their own labels, so every playback action is easy to recognize.

Everything You Need, Right Below the Video

The title, creator, follow button, likes, comments, sharing, saves, game link, and description now sit together in one clear section.

View count and publish time appear once, in the place you would expect. Descriptions have more comfortable spacing, and every button follows the same visual style as the rest of the page.

Following a creator, unfollowing, or canceling a follow request can all be done without leaving the video.

Comments Stay With the Conversation

Comments now appear directly below the video, similar to the watch pages people already know.

Anyone can read the conversation. Sign in when you want to comment, reply, like a comment, or add a reaction. Longer conversations open a page at a time, including reply threads, so the page stays quick and easy to follow.

If you move to another video, your comment draft and attachments stay with the video where you started them. This helps prevent a reply or photo from ending up in the wrong conversation.

Made for Light Mode and Dark Mode

Cinema now follows your Lowlight theme from the moment the page opens.

Details, comments, buttons, loading states, error messages, and the Up next panel all use colors designed for both light mode and dark mode. The result feels like one complete page instead of separate pieces placed around a player.

Find What to Watch Next

On larger screens, Up next keeps related videos close without crowding the player. It can use the current game, creator, or community as context, then offer other Cinema videos when there is not a close match.

On smaller screens, the watch page keeps the layout focused and gives the video, details, and comments the full width.
