Lowlight integrations are now live on web and iOS. You can connect one or more Discord webhooks and choose a source creator for each channel mapping.
What You Can Do
- Connect one or more Discord channel webhooks
- Select any Lowlight user as the source creator for each webhook
- Copy your personal Lowlight RSS feed URL
- Pause, re-enable, test, and remove each connected channel
Before You Start
- You need permission to manage webhooks in your Discord server/channel
- Your posts must be public and published to be delivered automatically
Setup on Web
- Open Settings → Integrations.
- In RSS Feed URL, click Copy RSS URL to copy your feed.
- In Discord, create a channel webhook and copy the webhook URL.
- Back in Lowlight, paste the webhook URL into Add Discord Webhook.
- Pick a Source User (default is your own account).
- Click Add Webhook.
- In Connected Channels, click Send Test to confirm delivery.
Setup on iOS
- Open the app and go to Settings → Integrations.
- Tap Copy RSS URL in the RSS section.
- Paste your Discord webhook URL into Add Discord Webhook.
- Select the Source User for that channel.
- Tap Add Webhook.
- Use Test under Connected Channels to verify delivery.
Using RSS with MEE6
- Copy your RSS feed URL from Lowlight.
- Open MEE6 RSS settings and add a new feed.
- Paste your Lowlight feed URL and choose the target Discord channel.
- Save your MEE6 configuration.
Manage Connected Channels
- Pause / Enable: Temporarily stop or resume delivery
- Send Test: Send a test message to validate the webhook
- Remove: Disconnect a channel from Lowlight
Troubleshooting
- Use a full Discord webhook URL in this format:
https://discord.com/api/webhooks/... - If test delivery fails, regenerate the webhook in Discord and reconnect it in Lowlight
- Check that your new posts are public and published, not draft or private
- Delivery is at-least-once. Rare retry/replay cases can produce duplicate Discord messages.
